Ready Set Boom doesn't collect anything about you
There's no account, no sign-in and no analytics. I never receive your player names, your scores or anything else you do in the app.
What the app keeps
Player names, saved groups, turn order, sound and timer settings and which games you own are stored on your iPhone or iPad by the app. Deleting the app removes them.
The diagnostics file is only made when you tap Send diagnostics, and it only goes wherever you send it.
Speech
Versions before 1.2 could add players by voice. The microphone was only on between tapping the microphone button and stopping it, and the speech was turned into text on your iPhone using Apple's on-device speech recognition and Apple Intelligence. No audio and no transcript was sent to me or to anyone else.
From 1.2 the app doesn't use the microphone.
Purchases
The thirteen paid games are bought through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment and I never see your payment details. Apple gives me anonymised sales totals, which say nothing about who bought what.
The offer page
If you claim a free game on the offer page, a cookie in your browser remembers the code you were given so the page can show it again. It holds nothing else, and nothing about you is stored.
The check that you're a person is Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at your browser to tell people from scripts. Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy covers what it sees.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, so there's nothing about a child to collect, use or share.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the bottom.
